Hey what’s REALLY good, Baby Cousin!?

This Saturday, acclaimed media artist, Rifle Eyes Carebear Cousin and many times Crush Buildings collaborator Ariel Smith will again join forces avec les boys for her latest art installation little girl/ugly girl/not bad/just evil girl as part of Toronto’s Images festival. Ariel Smith’s piece will feature sound designed by Eimhin Rooney and James Romanuk of Crush Buildings. It will be a departure from the typical “band” make up of Crush Buildings more akin to the score work that they have done on Ms. Smith’s films Dear Diary and Target Girls.

If you’re going to be in the Torontoland Area and would like to see Ariel Smith’s little girl/ugly girl/not bad/just evil girl it will be showing until Sat 23 Apr, 2011 @ WARC GALLERY – WOMEN’S ART RESOURCE CENTRE for their show entitled In Expression of the Inexpressable. WARC is located at 401 Richmond Street W.

Check out Ariel’s amazing work and learn more about her here at her “official website*
