Dream Jefferson reviewed on The Burning Ear, I (Heart) Music

March 8, 2011

I (Heart) Music calls Sasquatch Bury Their Dead "simultaneously fun and intelligent (a rarer combination than you'd think)."

Dream Jefferson’s Sasquatch Bury Their Dead reviewed on indie music blogs The Burning Ear and I (Heart) Music.

It looks as if the world is finally starting to realize what we here at Rifle Eyes have known for a long, long time. Dream Jefferson are an unstoppable force of equal parts rap and good times.

Since the launch of their first music video last week, the Toronto-based duo’s debut album, Sasquatch Bury Their Dead – which is still free to download – has been lighting up blogsville with key reviews in music blogs The Burning Ear and I (Heart) Music.

I (Heart) Music calls the album “simultaneously fun and intelligent (a rarer combination than you’d think)” while one reviewer at The Burning Ear was inspired to “mount this office desk and raise the damn roof.”

Energetic and sharp-tongued rappers Owel Five and Corboe have been tearing up Ottawa and Toronto for the last five years. It wasn’t until about a year ago that they teamed up to form the mighty duo now know as Dream Jefferson.
