The Build-Up: Dream Jefferson – Sasquatch Bury Their Dead

October 15, 2010

It’s been quite the year for us over here at Rifle Eyes.  We launched the site, Crush Buildings dropped their new EP “Things Luminous” and offered up their previous LP “Surrender Sleep” for free, we dropped some remixes and exclusives by the whole crew, KWES and Hancock dropped the free EP “Against the Dying of the Light”, and Dream Jefferson, well, Dream Jefferson pretty much LIVED on stage.

Well it’s about to get MO’ BIGGER.  For all of you folks who have bore witness to a Dream Jeff live show or have just been keeping up on the hype and have been waiting to get your hands on a copy of their work, your year is about to be made.  In the next month or so they will be dropping their FREE (yeah, that’s right.  It also gets MO’ FREE) EP “Sasquatch Bury Their Dead”!

Can you hold your breath until then?  Don’t actually hold your breath until then, you’ll pass out.  If you WANT to try holding your breath until then and pass out, hey, that’s your prerogative.  I, on the other hand, will continue to breathe in my regular day-to-day fashion and will be properly oxygenated when the album hits the Internet streets.

Need something to tide you over until then?  Alright, bet.  Check out “The Old Heartbeat” over on their MySpace.

P.S. It doesn’t end there!  Stay tuned for news on Danny Deleto’s new EP “Conversation”, the release of KWES’ 2006 instrumental EP “Daybreaks”, and something special for all of you folks that we’re going to keep under wraps for now!  SUSPENSE!
